Культ св. Аполлона и Фиба в позднеантичном Египте

Статья посвящена исследованию почитания двух святых египетских монахов: Аполлона и Фиба. Как показывают дошедшие до нас свидетельства, их хорошо знали в Египте, но они практически неизвестны за его пределами. Как полагает автор статьи, их почитание складывалось не столько на основе житийной традиции, сколько вокруг ритуала «прощения грехов», который происходил в монастыре Бауит в день памяти Фиба.
