Фрина, обнаженная Гиперидом, или Риторика жеста в античных Афинах (К вопросу о невербальных элементах дискурса)

В античной Греции употреблялись следующие виды жестов (если упростить неоправданно сложную пятичленную классификацию Д. Латейнера, сведя ее к трем пунктам): 1) жесты сознательные и ритуализованные; 2) жесты сознательные, но неритуализованные, индивидуальные; 3) жесты бессознательные. В связи с «риторикой жеста» в данной статье речь идет в основном о жестах второй категории. Приводя различные примеры из политической и судебной истории Афин архаического и классического периодов, автор стремится показать, что в рамках культуры сознательных неритуализованных жестов жесты более умеренные соотносились (во всяком случае, в восприятии источников) с политической позицией, которая представлялась также более умеренной, жесты несдержанные – с радикальной позицией.
