За что Красс возненавидел Цицерона? (Plut. Crass. 13. 3–5)

В статье анализируется сообщение Плутарха (Crass. 13. 5) о том, что Красс возненавидел Цицерона после эпизода с анонимными письмами, предупреждавшими о заговоре Катилины, которые были получены Крассом при странных обстоятельствах, переданы Цицерону и послужили основанием для принятия senatus consultum ultimum. Высказана гипотеза, что Красс считал автором писем самого Цицерона и рассматривал весь эпизод как его провокацию, цель которой – вбить клин между Крассом и заговорщиками и получить от сената чрезвычайные полномочия.
