Сюжет о царе Актисане (Diod. I. 60) и образ нубийских завоевателей в античной рецепции египетских представлений о прошлом

В статье рассматривается сюжет I книги «Исторической библиотеки» Диодора Сицилийского, согласно которому в Египте на этапе, соответствующем началу исторического Нового царства, правил несправедливый царь по имени Амасис, которому нанес поражение «эфиопский» (нубийский) царь Актисан, ставший затем благим правителем Египта. Очевидно, Амасис соответствует историческому Яхмосу I, изгнавшему из Египта гиксосов; Актисан же представляется достаточно искусственным образом, созданным, в частности, в результате перенесения на него положительных мотивов, связанных у Геродота и Диодора с образом другого «эфиопского» завоевателя Египта Сабакона (исторического Шабаки; Hdt. II. 137, 139; Diod. I. 65). Форма имени «Актисан», по-видимому, заимствована у нубийского царя конца IV в. до н.э. Гатисена, современного созданию труда о Египте Гекатея Абдерского, который лег в основу сведений I книги Диодора. Поводом для замещения данным сюжетом реминисценций владычества и изгнания из Египта гиксосов стали, вероятно, сохранившиеся сведения о нападениях нубийцев в конце Второго переходного периода в сочетании с недружественностью к царю Яхмосу I, перенесшему столицу Египта в Фивы, которая могла запечатлеться в традиции Мемфиса. Последний мотив оказался настолько стойким, что проявился даже в средневековой арабской традиции.
