Маски священных соколов с изображением царя из египетского собрания ГМИИ имени А.С. Пушкина
Ладынин Иван Андреевич
Статья посвящена публикации и интерпретации группы памятников из египетского собрания ГМИИ имени А.С. Пушкина (ГМИИ I.1a.5001, 4688, 4687, 4689, 4691, 4690–5005). Памятники представляют собой гипсовые маски, помещавшиеся на мумии священных соколов и изображавшие египетского царя. Аналогии им неизвестны. Проведенный анализ показал, что данные изображения соответствуют стандарту царской иконографии, принятому в IV–III вв. до н.э. и со значительной уверенностью могут быть атрибутированы Птолемею II Филадельфу (282–246 гг. до н.э.). Маски происходят из коллекции В.С. Голенищева, их происхождение и обстоятельства приобретения неизвестны, однако можно допустить, что они происходят из некрополя священных соколов в Северной Саккара, где бытовали в царствование Птолемея II, будучи призваны подчеркивать присутствие в нем божества и его сакральную легитимность.
