An Unpublished North West Semitic Inscription from the Collection of the Russian Archaeological Institute in Constantinople

Cтатья представляет собой публикацию эстампажа ранее неизвестной северозападносемитской алфавитной надписи из коллекции Русского археологического института в Константинополе. В настоящее время эстампаж хранится в Санкт-Петербургском филиале Архива РАН. Надпись, с которой был сделан эстампаж, была выполнена в технике барельефа, предположительно, на большом сосуде с орнаментом. Палеографический анализ показал, что надпись с большой вероятностью датируется серединой IX в. до н. э. и происходит из Южного Ханаана (Палестины). Языковые особенности памятника также в основном подтверждают его южноханаанское происхождение.
