Inscription on the Flask from the Temir Mound

The article offers a scrutiny of the inscription on the flask from the Temir burial-mound. The author reads it as k III ‘three kapiches’ (units of volume) and compare it to the evidence from Iranian traditions (Parthia and Chorasmia). We also investigate the measurement of the unit and conclude that the inscription was probably produced in Chorasmia between the fourth century BC and first century AD.
