Сочинение Ферекида Афинского в контексте раннеклассического греческого историописания

Статья посвящена Ферекиду Афинскому, незаслуженно полузабытому историку и мифографу первой половины – середины V в. до н. э., автору труда (называвшегося скорее всего «История» или «Истории»), от которого сохранилось немало фрагментов. Ферекид принадлежал к окружению аристократического рода Филаидов, возглавлявшегося в те времена выдающимся политиком и полководцем Кимоном. Кстати, один из самых важных (но в то же время и из самых проблемных) фрагментов Ферекида со- держит родословную Филаидов, охватывающую несколько веков. В статье рассматрива- ются, в частности, следующие вопросы: так ли велико, как обычно считается, различие между Ферекидом, автором достаточно консервативным, и Гекатеем Милетским, име- ющим репутацию «революционера» и рационалиста; был ли знаком с Ферекидом и его трудом Геродот, и если да, то как это повлияло на написанную последним «Историю»; в каком отношении находится Ферекид к возникшей позже традиции локального афинского историописания, плодом которой стал ряд трактатов, озаглавленных «Аттида».
