Где были помещены законы Солона?

Видимо, сообщение Аристотеля (Ath. pol. 7. 1) о том, что законы Солона, написанные на кирбах, были поставлены им в «Царской стое», не соответствует действительности. В этом здании (или перед ним) с большой вероятностью могли находиться законы Драконта об убийствах, записанные на аналогичных кирбах (аксонах). Представляется, что наиболее вероятным первоначальным местонахождением солоновских законов был старинный афинский пританей, который располагался на восточном склоне Акрополя, в районе «Старой Агоры».
