A Bulla from Margiana with the Portrait of a Mounted King

The author publishes a seal impression on a clay bulla from the excavations of the Parthian site of Gebekli-depe (Turkmenistan). On the seal, a mounted king before an altar is portrayed. The seal belonged to an inportant functionary and reflects the official ideology of glorification of royal power.
