A New Masterpiece of Gandharan Art (A Statue of Prince Siddharthafrom the Collection ofG. Ortis)

The article is dedicated to one of recently found works of art from Gandhara, a statue iden- tified as that of Prince Siddhartha. It was found near the town of Peshavar in Pakistan. The author shows its stylistic closeness to a number of other monuments and tries to characterize one of sculptor's workshops of Gandhara.
