A Lead Plaque with Greek Inscription from Phanagoreia

Maslennikov Alexandr A., Saprykin Sergey Yu.

The article is the first publication of a lead plaque with Greek inscription, discovered by accident on the Taman peninsula near the ancient city of Phanagoreia and now kept in one of the private collections of antiquities. The inscription on the plaque gives seven male personal names - Dionysios, Ariousales, Amasis, Solon, Sosis, Adoukses, Promethion, which presumably belonged to the citizens of the city.
