Once More on the Dating of two Inscriptions from Prokhorovka

The authors analyze two inscriptions in Aramaic script on the silver cups found in 1911 during an illegal excavation of Kurgan 1 in Prokhorovka (Southern Urals). Paleographic and linguistic data as well as new archaeological material discovered in this kurgan in 2003 make it possible to date the inscriptions to a period before the end of the 3rd c. BC.
