The authors publish Chersonesian coins from the collection of ancient Bosporan and North Pontic coins presented in 1985 to the Department of Numismatics of the State Historical Museum by A.S. Kotsievsky, an outstanding collector and numismatist of the 1950s–1980s. The collection includes 127 coins and 10 lead tesserae of ancient Chersonesos. About one half of the coins (63 pieces) are of the autonomous period (ca. 390–110 BC). 30 pieces are of the period of Bosporan influence and the First Eleutheria (ca. 110 BC – 2nd century AD). 32 pieces belong to the Second Eleutheria (140–280 AD) granted to Chersonesos in the beginning of Antoninus Pius’ rule.
