Personal Names in the Khwarezmian Language

The article presents a survey of Khwarezmian anthroponymy and its sources (partly still unpublished) in connection with the history of the Khwarezmian language and literature since the Achaemenid period. The author suggests a number of new etymologies and corrections for those already proposed. Numerous parallels with the onomastics of other Iranian peoples are drawn.
